Shortly before he left Manila for the United States, Mexican boxing legend Juan Manuel Marquez thanked Filipinos Monday for the warm welcome they gave him during his stay.

A smiling Marquez waved to Filipinos at The Manila Hotel before boarding his vehicle for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
